CBSE Age Criteria for LKG Admission 2025-26
For LKG admissions in the academic year 2025-26, children must meet the CBSE age criteria specified by the school. Typically, the child should have completed 4 years as of June 1, 2025.
General Guidelines
Admissions are processed upon receipt of the school admission application form, duly filled, including the Wellness Form. The completed application, along with the required documents, can be submitted either at the NPS Varthur campus or through the online admission portal.
Grade II to IX
Students seeking admission to these grades are required to submit the Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate (in original) from their previous school. The certificate must be countersigned by the authorized signatory. Additionally, a photocopy of the report card for the last grade completed is mandatory. If the Transfer Certificate is not submitted during the admission process, it must be submitted within 30 days of joining the school. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the student’s admission to the school.
Documents Required for Admission
Please ensure the following documents are submitted at the campus:
- Passport Size Photographs – 4 copies each of the child, father, and mother.
- Birth Certificate – A copy of the child’s birth certificate.
- Aadhaar Card Copies – Copies of Aadhaar cards for the child and both parents.
- Immunization Records – Updated immunization records of the child.
- Blood Group Certificate – A certificate indicating the child’s blood group.
- Progress Reports – Progress reports of the child for the last 3 years (Nursery, LKG, and UKG).
- Transfer Certificate (Manual) – To be submitted after the session ends.
- Address Proof – Any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Rental Agreement, Driving License, or Voter ID.
- STS Number from Previous School – Original STS TC to be submitted after the session ends.
Important Note
The name on the Aadhaar Card and Birth Certificate must match, as it is mandatory for admission.
